The Catskills Fire Tower Five Challenge encourages experienced hikers to visit the region's five remaining fire towers, located on Balsam Lake Mountain (Hardenburgh), Hunter Mountain (Hunter), Overlook Mountain (Woodstock), Red Hill Mountain (Denning), and Tremper Mountain (Shandaken).
